Evaluation and awards:
Choirs are judged by an international jury of 3 or 5 people.
Choirs are judged according to the following criteria:
– singing technique and sound culture, articulation;
– intonation, sense of rhythm and tempo;
– expressiveness, style and stage presence;
– choice of repertoire and dramaturgy.
The choirs are evaluated on a scale of 50 to 100 points.
The decision of the Commission is final and not subject to appeal.
The choirs of both competitions are awarded gold, silver, bronze and a participant’s diploma, according to the number of points obtained:

In the compulsory programme competition, the participants with the highest number of points in each category are the category winners (cash prizes may be awarded)
In the compulsory programme competition, the participants with the highest number of points, but not less than 90 points, become the “BEST CHOIR OF THE COMPETITION” (cash prizes may be awarded)

Audience Sympathy Prize
