Familiar from hundreds of pieces of different composers, the ritual is turned into action, a spectacle. The child step by step “plays” the content of Requiem (death, funeral, funeral life), which are actually a genuine hidden plot of many children’s games – from “blind man’s buff” to ”playing catch-up“, “funeral of the doll” or others. 45 minutes of children play singing a capella without a conductor.
The premiere of the Requiem took place in 2017 in one of the best halls of Moscow – the Moscow International House of Music.
