7th International Choir Festival of Lithuanian Music Patriarch Juozas Naujalis

Important Event for lovers of choral music: the 7th Lithuanian Music Patriarch Juozas Naujalis International Choral Festival and Competition, 5-7 April, Kaunas

In April, Kaunas invites you to a spectacular celebration of choral music – the 7th Juozas Naujalis Choral Festival and Competition. This year’s event will bring together choirs from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland, who will not only honour the memory of Naujalis by singing his works, but also perform works by composers from their own countries, reflecting different cultures. The festival events will take place in places closely associated with the name of Juozas Naujalis, such as Kaunas Cathedral, where he worked and taught, and the Juozas Naujalis Music Gymnasium. The festival programme includes three concerts of choral music and a choir competition.
