JURY AND EVALUATION

 

Evaluation and awards:

 

Choirs are judged by an international jury of 3 or 5 people.
Choirs are judged according to the following criteria:
– singing technique and sound culture, articulation;
– intonation, sense of rhythm and tempo;
– expressiveness, style and stage presence;
– choice of repertoire and dramaturgy.
The choirs are evaluated on a scale of 50 to 100 points.
The decision of the Commission is final and not subject to appeal.
The choirs of both competitions are awarded gold, silver, bronze and a participant’s diploma, according to the number of points obtained:

 

Participants of the competitions will be awarded

 

Gold diploma

90-100 points

Silver diploma

80-89,9 points

Bronze diploma

70-79,9 points

Participation diploma

50 – 69,9 points

 

In the compulsory programme competition, the participants with the highest number of points in each category are the category winners (cash prizes may be awarded)
In the compulsory programme competition, the participants with the highest number of points, but not less than 90 points, become the “BEST CHOIR OF THE COMPETITION” (cash prizes may be awarded)

Prize of the Union of Creators of the online portal choras.lt for the most expressive competition choir
For the best interpretation of a compulsory work
Audience Sympathy Prize
The Commission reserves the right to award additional prizes
