Competition rules:
Cantate Domino is open to amateur choirs and ensembles only.
COMPETITION WITHOUT COMPULSORY PROGRAM
In the competition without compulsory programme, the ensembles perform a freely chosen programme of sacred or secular music, of which 2 works are performed a cappella.
The duration of the competition with compulsory programme is 12 – 15 minutes, including entrance/exit, applause, pauses between pieces.

A COMPETITION WITH A COMPULSORY PROGRAMME:
In the compulsory programme competition, the ensembles perform a programme of sacred music, of which 1 piece may be secular. The works are performed a cappella, 1 work may be performed with instrumental accompaniment.
In the competition with a compulsory programme, ensembles participate in the following categories:
